Oakwood Golf Course is a Public, 9 hole golf course located in Amherst, New York.

Oakwood Golf Course first opened for play in 1936.

The fairways are tree lined and narrow, and the small greens are fast.  A small creek comes into play on two holes.  The terrain is typically flat, the course is easy to walk. Ladies tee off from the same set of tees as the men.

Red tees: par-35, 2,475 yards

good beginner course--kids and elderly golfers -- not for long ball hitters. Course manager very miserable--not very friendly.

Would travel: 0-10 Miles, Not Vacation Worthy
